We really like the workbook a but are confused on how to open/ buy the others.

Simple and good app.

I use this for my English class for little guys here in Japan. The love learning... If it is from an iPad.

Beyond ❤️❤️❤️

What a fabulous app for kindergartens to learn more about the alphabet & its sounds. It reinforces what theyre learning at school & this app can be used as practice/review at home. I can also see this app being used by teachers & speech therapists. Very well done...& continue bringing us more of these educational Apps.

A great app to use with special needs children. Thanks!

Great learning tool!

I really like this app. Its got a lot of different features to keep kids interested and I much prefer my child using apps like this to games with no educational value.

All in one

I like how this app has so many games to choose from. As a teacher and mom of a four year old, this app is a great way to help reinforce those ABCs. My favorite is the proper letter writing strokes. Stroke order is so important and this shows it!!! Just trying to figure out how to make it keep working without shutting off.

Fun way to practice ABCs

My kindergarteners love all of the fun ways to practice ABCs featured on this app. They especially like the tracing portion! Thanks for making and sharing such a great app!

Awesome

ABC Genius - Preschool Games for Learning Alphabet Letters and Phonics Awesome app for preschoolers in learning their letters- both upper and lowercase, phonics, letter tracing, and early workbook type activities to name a few. The material is laid out in a nice sequence, allowing for work on selected letters if you need to zero in on letters to your name for example. I would love to see in future updates a repeat of directions button for those kids that have difficulty processing directions or are distracted easily. There is an IAP to receive all games and a link to other apps, but it is secured under a button. I would definitely recommend this app especially to kids starting in a preschool classroom environment. Parental involvement could include playing school, and giving out homework (something preschoolers enjoy) or pointing out application of letters to everyday objects. Highly recommended.

ABC Genius

Love this game. Works on recognition, phonics, beginning sounds.

Great app!

This has been a great app to teach my son recognition of letters as well as beginning sounds! He loves it and plays it whenever we have to wait around for something.

Wont let me use parental controls!!!

I just bought this & we love it, but I wont let me use the parental controls to unlock half the letters!!!!!

BAZINGA!!!!

This is such an awesome app. Ive had no problem with it and my two year old loves it. He is learning how to write his letters and he does such a great job now. Thank you for helping us bond while he is learning. God Bless!

Great tool for early alphabet writing and phonemic awareness

As a general statement, you are extremely unlikely to be disappointed by anything from Alligator Apps, and this one is no exception. Apologies if I confused you or seemed hoity-toity by using the term "phonemic awareness" in the review title. I may be just a mommy and homeschooler now, but I was originally trained as a linguist, so I find myself stuck with the automatic tendency to use the technical term when it is appropriate. Phonemic awareness, as it deals with learning to read, more or less means learning which letters make which sounds. This app will give your child lots of practice with that. When the child traces the letters, the app (with cute graphics, even!) shows them which order and direction to make the strokes in and when not to lift their finger. If this turns out to conflict with what your own writing program is trying to teach them and this is a problem for you, then I would recommend that you contact the developer with the request to offer alternatives. Grasshopper Apps is known for being for highly responsive to its customers and offering amazing amounts of customizations on most of its apps. (The customization options on most of its apps are literally way more than ten times deeper than the currently available options on this one.)

Great app!!!

My kindergarteners low using this app. They learn letter names and sounds very quickly and are able to identify beginning sounds in words. It helps kids with letter formation as well. Love this app!

Best app ever

Best app my autistic son loves it

Fantastic

This is a wonderfully motivating educational app. It makes learning early writing and reading skills fun. The colors are pleasing and includes concept reinforcing details. For example, in the letter tracing section the tracer is an icon of something that starts with that letter. Well worth a try and well worth the price to unlock the whole app.

Meh.

Cant figure out what these pictures start with. A blimp is a zephyr, a sleepy boy is "tired" not boy, a girl with a backpack is "student" not girl. Very frustrating for my kid. A bug that needs fixing, lady asks, how many X-rays do you see, the screen says, " how many ships do you see?"

Good. A few things to fix:

1) There needs to be more variety in the A is for? game. It becomes easy to memorize. 2) shuffle is not working. 3) tracing is too unforgiving, especially on a small phone screen. Toddler gets frustrated and gives up. I cant even do it sometimes. 4) in the A is for? game, some icons are confusing. For example, the letter L is for either Lion or what looks to be a light.

Good app, but major issues with purchased features

We just purchased the full version and its incredibly hard to draw the connecting lines for all of the letter-specific games that come with the full version. Mo lease fix this ASAP! Thanks

Awesome Tool

My son has Down Syndrome and we are always in search of tools that keep his attention and help him learn while having fun! This app is terrific
